Under EU Regulation EC 261/2004, you may be entitled to financial compensation for delayed or canceled flights departing from or arriving in the European Union (with an EU carrier).
This page is my personal log to track airline responses, compensation timelines, and useful links — both for my own reference and to help fellow travelers. I’ll keep it updated as I file more claims.
💰 EU Compensation Table
| Delay / Cancellation | Flight Distance | Compensation |
|---|---|---|
| 3+ hour delay | Up to 1,500 km | €250 |
| 3+ hour delay | 1,500–3,500 km | €400 |
| 3+ hour delay | Over 3,500 km (intra-EU) | €400 |
| 3+ hour delay | Over 3,500 km (non-EU) | €600 |
| Cancellation (<14 days notice) | Same as above | Same as above |
Note: These apply if the delay or cancellation is the airline’s fault (not weather or security-related), and you reached your final destination 3+ hours late.
