About

Hi there! I’m Virginia, 28, originally from the small city of Parma, Italy, and currently living somewhere between airport lounges and dancefloors. By day, I’m a Data Scientist; by night (or during any coffee break I can get), I’m deep into travel planning mode — spreadsheeting, flight-hacking, or mapping out my next adventure.

I was lucky enough to travel a lot as a kid, living in different countries and absorbing different cultures. My dad used to plan everything down to the minute, but by the time I was a teenager, I proudly claimed the title of family TripAdvisor. That early obsession never really went away.

These days, I’ve hit Genius level on Booking.com, hoard miles like a digital dragon across 87,629 airline apps, and celebrate each new country on Been like it’s the first time I tasted pistachio (which, if you know me, is saying a lot — I can’t resist).

Planning can be frustrating, sure — especially when you’re balancing time zones, budgets, and multiple Google Maps lists — but it’s also wildly rewarding. I live for that chaotic, buzzing excitement just before a trip, when your MUST-DO list is ready and your suitcase isn’t even close to packed.

Boarding Beats is where I bring together all the things I love: adventurous travel, underground nightlife, skiing, kitesurfing, and occasionally a museum or running club when the vibe is right. Think of it as a travel diary with a pulse — playlists, city guides, party spots, and all the lessons I’ve learned from chasing dopamine across time zones.

Oh — and to all my friends constantly asking for tips? This one’s for you. I’ll be sending links from now on 😜

Let’s start planning together.
